educational qualification:
.for Commercial Apprentice :Degree from recognized University or its equivalent. Diploma in Rail Transport and Management from the Institute of Rail Transport will be an additional desirable qualification.

.Goods Guard :same as ECRC
.Jr. Accounts Assistant cum Typist :recognized University or its equivalent.Preference being given to persons with I & II Divisions ,Honours & Master Degree. Typing proficiency in English/Hindi on Computer/Typewriter is essential.

In the year 1998, all RRBs came under the control of the Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRCB), which was set up in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) to coordinate and streamline the working of RRBs.
