Application fee: Application fee of Rs. 30/- in the form of Indian Postal Order duly crossed/ Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque in favour of DIG, Group Centre, CRPF of concerned Application Receiving Centres identified for their respective States  be sent by General and OBC candidates along with the application form. No application fee is required to be paid by SC/ST candidates,Ex-Servicemen and Mahila candidates.
Selection process:All eligible candidates whose application form is found to be in order will be issued admit card/call letter to appear in the recruitment process. The list of such eligible candidates will also be displayed at Application Receiving Centres.
Eligible and desirous candidates, who fulfill eligibility conditions, may send their application in the prescribed proforma duly typed or neatly hand written and filled up in all respects on full-scap paper, affixing latest passport size photograph duly attested on application at the space prescribed for the purpose and two self addressed envelops of 4” x 9” size with Rs. 22/- postage stamps affixed thereon, to the DIG, Group Centre, CRPF of concerned Applications Receiving Centres as mentioned in detailed advt. on or before the last prescribed

The Central Reserve Police Force came into existence as Crown Representative’s Police on 27th July 1939. It became the Central Reserve Police Force on enactment of the CRPF Act on 28th December 1949. It has completed 60 years of glorious history. The Force has grown into a big organization with 207 Bn, (including 181 executive Bns, 2 Mahila Bns,  10 RAF Bns, 6 CoBRA  Bns,  2 DM  (NDRF) Bns, 5 Signal Bns and 1 Special Duty Group),  37 Group Centres,   11 Training Institutions, 2 CWS, 7 AWS, 3 SWS, 4 Composite Hospitals of 100 bed and 17 Composite Hospitals of 50 bed.The journey to Hot Springs in Ladakh is a pilgrimage for every policemen in the country. For Dy.S.P .Karam Singh and his twenty dedicated compatriots  of the CRPF patrolling the Indian territory at the Hot Springs in Ladakh, 21st October 1959 was like any other day of autumn. At 4,681 meters above the sea level, the mountains stood in silence, till it was broken by the report of guns.The Chinese had attacked the Indian patrol party from a hilltop, killing 10 jawans. The rest were taken prisoners. The incident shocked the country and virtually turned the course of its future relationship with China.21st October is now commemorated as Martyr's Day by the Police all over India.
